The R & R Colony at Chilgo village, Pakur district, Jharkhand, is a purpose-built rehabilitation and resettlement project being developed for project affected people of Pachhwara (North) Coal Mine. Spanning over 31.78 acres, the colony is being designed to provide modern, sustainable living facilities, including 118 residential units, essential amenities like schools, healthcare units, water treatment systems, places of worship, and recreational areas. With comprehensive infrastructure covering roads, drainage, power supply, and sanitation, the colony ensures a self-contained, community-centric environment aimed at improving the quality of life and fostering social development for the resettled families.
